Simultaneous interpreting for events

Customer satisfaction with Delingua’s conference interpreting is extremely high. Our interpreters have extensive experience from working in the institutions of the European Union and other international surroundings, and we are extremely proud of their expertise.

Delingua is easy to communicate with and things run smoothly. They also have a desire to continuously improve.

Consecutive interpreting

In consecutive interpreting, the speaker and the interpreter take turns speaking. In other words, the interpreter interprets after the speaker has spoken.
Consecutive interpreting takes twice as long: everything is heard twice, first in the source language and then interpreted into the target language. Consecutive interpreting is often used when interpreting negotiations and separate statements.

Simultaneous interpreting

Simultaneous interpreting happens at the same time as the speaker speaks. The speaker’s speech is transmitted to the interpreter’s headphones with the aid of simultaneous interpreting equipment and interpreting is then transmitted by microphone to the listeners’ headphones.
As interpreting takes place simultaneously, the event time can be used efficiently, focusing on the actual topic.
