Community interpreting helps with public services
Our ISO-certified interpreting services offer community interpreting for private companies and the public sector. Typical community interpreting scenarios include, for instance, interpreting in different state or municipal agency offices or health care units. Interpreting in police questioning or at court is also often regarded as community interpreting.
When you order a community interpreter from a language service company, you have every reason to expect the interpreter to be a professional. Our interpreters comply with the Finnish Association of Translators and Interpreters’ (SKTL) community interpreters’ Code of Ethics, which requires impartiality and absolute confidentiality, among other requirements.
Sometimes the simplest and most cost-effective interpreting method is remote interpreting via a telephone or video connection. Remote interpreting can often be organised on short notice.
